Mermet Springs

Remnants of Hurricane Ike were heading north towards Mermet Springs but divers still took the opportunity to dive at the Tech Tour. Mermet Springs generously donated a sturdy structure so Pete Nawrocky could provide seminars on lighting systems O2ptima CCR and the rest of the Dive Rite Line.

Divers took the opportunity to Dive with Pete on the O2ptima. We did catch glimpses of the 5 foot long Paddlefish as we same silently among the attractions. Wind gusts of 50 miles per hour kept most people away on Sunday, but those that braved the weather enjoyed extended time on their dives. Rest assured all the gear dried quickly since mother nature left the "fan on" and provided bright sunshine. We look forward to next years tech tour.
