H35/50 HID Video Light

#LT6400HV50

DISCONTINUED: NOVEMBER 4, 2008

The H35/50 provides a large volume of light at color temperatures that are ideal for the professional, underwater videographer. Hot-strike ability allows the user to change between 35W and 50W output on the fly. The ballast for the light is located in the canister rather than attached to the light head making it extremely light and maneuverable when attached to the camera via mounting arms. The 12V, 9 Amp NiMH battery reduces bulk and weight as compared to gel cell batteries and offers an approximate burn time of 1.5 hours while delivering a strong, crisp white light with 4,700 degree Kelvin color temperature at 35W and 3,850 Kelvin at 50W. The 35W offers 3,600 lumens of illumination and 5,590 lumens at 50W. Depth rated to 400 feet (121m). The H35/50 canister holds the battery pack and ballast and is formed from polyvinyl chloride pipe (PVC). Coupled with its round shape and PVC construction the [continued]

canister is indestructible even under extreme pressures. The canister lid houses the on/off switch inside a switch guard to prevent accidental on/off. A compression o-ring seal keeps water from entering the canister and locking latches prevent unintentional opening of the lid. A webbing loop allows for mounting of the canister to standard 2-inch webbing waist straps. Includes NiMH charger required for NiMH battery pack. The H35/50 HID Video Light comes packed inside a protective case. Made in the U.S.A.

  • 35W: 3,600 lumens / 50W: 5,590 lumens
  • 35W: 4,700 Kelvin / 50W: 3,850 Kelvin
  • 1.5 hours of burn time
  • 12V 9 Amp NiMH Wreck battery
  • Depth rated to 400 feet (121 m)

Lamartek, Inc. dba Dive Rite will — at its sole discretion — repair or replace dive light components proved to be damaged by faulty manufacture or material, at no cost, for a period of up to one year (365 days) from the date of purchase.

• Canister bodies and the metal portions of light heads are warranted for the life of the product.

• Batteries are warranted against defects in manufacture or material for 90 days from date of purchase. This warranty does not cover loss of battery “burn time” — condition that results almost exclusively from mis-use or abuse. Users must read and study the rated “burn time” information appearing Dive Rite’s website. Failure to do so can easily result in expensive damage not covered under warranty.

• Attempting to charge damaged batteries can further result in damage to chargers. This is not covered under warranty [continued]

— nor is damage to chargers caused by nonstandard alternating current voltages or cycle rates. Chargers returned under warranty must be accompanied by the battery they were being used to charge. If the battery is determined to be the cause of charger damage, no warranty coverage will be provided.

• The warranty also specifically excludes bulbs, lenses, fuses, O-rings, or other conditions resulting from misuse, negligence, failure to properly lubricate o-rings, alteration, accident, or nauthorized repair.
